Do you guys remember watching him as a kid??? OMG, I miss him soooo much!!!! Does anyone know if the show even comes on anymore?? Does anyone know what he's currently doing?? Thanks!

lol, i heard he was dead.

....but what i heard was wrong. he's doing some other show that hasn't been shown yet that's supposed to present sides of science/ethics arguements like cloning to help ppl decide which way to vote. =]

"Bill Nye is currently working on a new prime-time science television series, called Eyes of Nye, aimed at more mature audiences than his previous show."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Nye

And you would like this:

http://www.billnye.com/

Oh and I liked Bill too. I also liked Bananas in Pajamas and Sailor Moon. :o

Crayon, no way!!!! I blush liked the Bananas and Sailors too!!! (I was in first grade!) :D Awesome! ahhh, childhood memories...

Really?! HAHA! I used to watch Pizza Cats in the morning or Doug or Mighty Max. I was around 1st/2nd grades too (and continued til like 5th grade) watching Sailor Moon. I hated Sailor Mars. She was such a witch! Jupiter was my fave. Venus was too cool for me.

Ah, one particular episode of BiP sticks out for me - something involving going to the beach and prior sawing off three legs of a table to make it even. I'm weird.

haha, i'll leave my memories of sailor moon repressed....(saturn was the best)

:D

Do you remember ever watching something called Science Court?? That show was absolutely awesome, too! I'm really weird...

I REMEMBER SCIENCE COURT FROM ONE SATURDAY MORNING! whoa! They taught me about inertia and how sound travels 1 mile in 5 seconds. I still use that show to remember the speed of sound to this day!

I vaugely remember science court, I think. Was it one of those squiggly animation shows? Oh well, Bill Nye rocks, I really hope that his new show gets bought.

He's a prof at Cornell!!!!!!!!!!!:D LOVE HIM

DeadParrot--yes, science court was the squiggly cartoon!!! man, that show ROCKED!!! and BILL NYE rocked even more. and remember newton's apple? that rocked too, but not as much as Bill Nye. why don't these shows come on anymore?? stupid hillary duff and her friends are taking over the once very intellectually stimulating saturday mornings! well, i'm not a kid anymore...kicks duff's butt

do any or you know which science show was the one with the big guy dressed in a rat's suit and a scientist and a woman dressed as a little girl with pigtails? that show used to scare the crap outta me. XD

he used to show up on late night seattle tv.....he was one of the High Fivin' White Guys... and maybe he was the Capitulator too: "he's no stranger to fleeing danger! the capitulator!!!!" or maybe that was pat cashman.

god that show was hilarious.

um, yeah, I need some sleep.

I loved his show. I think I got some computer game based on the show, but it sucked. That's around when I sort of stopped watching it. lol

hahahahahahaha i remember/love Bill Nye!!

we use to watch his videos in middle school science and we would have to write down 20 facts about the video and everyone's first fact would always be

Bill Nye is a science guy

hahaha...good times...we can all still sing the song too...
Bill Nye the sceince guy...bill nnnyyee the scciieenccee guy Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill!

Doesn't he live in seattle?
He came to our school one day...

"Inertia is a property of matter."

I still love that show.

Two of the only episodes of Science Court I can remember about this woman who hired a poet to write about 'nonliving' things. And she thought he wrote about 'dead' things and how they call got classifyed.

And the other was about this woman who used simple machines to help her at work and her co-workers thought she was 'cheating the system' or something because of it.

NickyJane18: What science subject does Bill Nye teach at Cornell?

That'd be awesome if I attended Cornell in 2 years and had him as my teacher!

He's actually a "prof at large"...I believe he does not teach actual courses, but he often speaks for students and stuff like that...I could be wrong though.

all i have to say is the best science based show was "Mr. Wizard" remember the old guy who did all the experiments and it came on at like 6 in the morning???? Then bill nye is the second best..but he still rocks my socks
