We used to watch Bill Nye in 8th grade physical science. My favorite were the music video spoofs of popular songs, but lyrics switched to science topics. LOVED IT!! haha.

Also, there were always the most random things in the show......I remember one where it was supposed to have the suspense feel of a horror movie for a few moments, with music and everything. They span around the room slowly and at first you don't notice, but in the corner there is a baby lying on the floor alone crying. It had nothing to do with the rest of the scene, but was funny for its randomness.

Did anyone remember watching some educational cartoon with a stereotype kinda scientist that always said "Eureka!"? The show seemed to be a lot older than Bill Nye, btw...Could it be Mr. Wizard?

OMG, Bill Nye the Science Guy show ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does he have any videos or something of the show that I can watch again sometime? (:D) I'm having a case of childhood nostalgia...

wow how strange is this...my sister and I were just talking about how much better channel 2 used to be....Bill Nye was so cool!! I actually downloaded his theme song. On top of that, Carmen Sandiego was pretty awesome, too. i have her song also!!! yay!!! childhood nostalgia!!

Beakman's world. What a nut. I guess you have to be a little older to remember him.

Bill Nye was in the news last year. He invented a sundial for some NASA project that saved a lot of money. I can't really remember the details, but I was surprised. I thought he just read off the script. The guy knows his stuff.

If anyone has "the Science Channel" Bill Nye is on right now! He's hosting a show called "100 Greatest Discoveries" and it's shown in 10 parts. I've seen one episode before.

We still watch Bill Nye in Chem sometimes for kicks, its so funny lol. Carmen Sandiego used to be my fav show as a kid :) I even had a board game of it!
