bill nye

i believe bill nye is giving a talk on april 6th at 7:30 in the Statler. It's FREEEEEEEE (but limited to 2 per person, and tickets are being given out on the 31st)...here's the website

<a href="http://web.cornell.edu/Rhodes56/documents/billnye.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://web.cornell.edu/Rhodes56/documents/billnye.pdf</a></p>

also, just extending this to everyone who is going to be here April 3rd - Alice Cook House is having brunch with Bill Nye from 10:30-11:30am at the alice cook house dining room, everyone is welcome. he will have a Q&A at around 11. He's going to wanna leave pretty soon afterwards though because he wants to go see a baseball game.

anyways, toodles, if there's anything to add, i'll be sure to mention it. oh yeah, he doesn't like to sign autographs or take pictures, so, um, idunno, but don't be disappointed if they ask you not to take pictures or ask him to sign his autograph. okie

that's so cool! heard he's got a new show, too. quite unfortunately i can't get to new york anytime soon!

i will update this when i find out which classes he is guest lecturing in. most likely engineering since that was what he majored in.

i just realized that cornell days doesn't start until after both of these events (SORRY!) too bad I don't have access to his schedule yet, except that he is having 2 private dinners on the 7th and 11th with my house.

Please pardon my stupidity, but isn't Bill Nye an alumnus of Cornell?

yeps - he is.
