I think i would be in the upper part of Binghamton som but i really want to go to ross even though i was rejected preferred admission. If i am interested in finance and accounting what would be the more logical decision?

Binghamton’s SOM is ranked very highly in both Accounting and Finance. To my knowledge, the Accounting program was ranked #2 – among public AND private – by BusinessWeek.

well, i can give you an answer very easily. If you want to major in accounting and finance, then you should probably go to michigan. At binghamton you cannot major in accounting anf finance and finish in 4 years, unless you are in the PwC scholars program. They invite 30 freshman and invite everyone with a 3.5 plus gpa at the end of freshmen year to apply, however, they only accept 20 new students to this program. Ross will allow you to double major in finance and accounting like everey other business school would, except binghamton, this is easily going to be the worst thing about SOM at least in my opinion.
