<p>Hey CC peeps. I got aceepted into both schools,and dont know which to choose. I' looking for a college with a great social life, and a place where i know i'll enjoy the most. I'm undecided. Can any1 help oN which SUNY is better, and which you recommend?</p>
<p>Undergrad programs-Bing probably has better liberal arts programs, SB has way better science and math programs.</p>
<p>Graduate programs-Stony Brook crushes Bing in every subject.</p>
<p>I don’t know *exactly *how big the effect is, but I’ve heard that Stony has a significant amount of people who go home on the weekends. Or commute every day.</p>
<p>I’m planing on attending another school for a graduates program, I’m just going to one of these schools for 4 years. Do you think 1 school might provide more success with reputation and liberal arts program?</p>

<p>Do you think Binghamton has the education reputation in order to have a good career after college? I hear Binghamton is only popular in the northeast but lets say if i go to san fran. no one has a clue what binghamton is.</p>
<p>In San Fran, they have no clue what Stony Brook is either. Neither Bing nor SB will open any doors for you out west. You’ll have to earn it.</p>
<p>That said, except for sciences, Bing is far superior in every way–academically and socially.</p>
<p>I feel that Binghamton is a great option for you because there is a lot of life on campus and it is stronger overall than Stony Btook.</p>
<p>Please…Bing is not stronger than SB. SB is a world renown university and is ranked in the top 200 universities in the world on several rankings. </p>
<p>Stony Brook university would be more well known on the West Coast because of it’s medical school and research. My girlfriend from Pasadena, CA had applied for SB along with several of her friends from a prestigious Catholic High School.</p>
<p>^ again, SB is excellent for science, including medicine (which is not even offered at Bing). In every other respect, Bing is a better school. Just 'cause your girlfriend’s prestigious California friends don’t know that doesn’t change the fact.</p>
<p>Do you think Binghamton being a big school has more advantage or skidmore being a small school has more opportunity.</p>
