<p>Which is better for the math and sciences and for pre-med program?</p>
<p>I'm thinking Bing, but need some verification.</p>
<p>Stony Brook is more prestigious in terms of math and sciences, and especially their pre-med program</p>
<p>I prefer the Binghamton campus over Stony Brook's though.
And from what I've heard, people generally like it better at Bing.
But I'm so biased because Stony Brook is on the Island, and 30 minutes away from my house. Which is why I'd rather not attend.</p>
<p>Stony Brook has a strong tie with Brookhaven National Lab., as well as several hospitals. While academically, their science program is probably more prestigious, Binghamton has a much more friendly, familial feel to it, in my opinion. Stony Brook is kind of "big and scary" so to speak, while Binghamton is a little more "home-y".</p>
