OMG - I'm totally losing sleep over this final!!! Can anyone give any little tips, especially with the timing and all? Also, in the exam reader, the cutoffs for the final aren't provided - does anyone have any clue what they might be? Thanks so much!

what do you mean by timing? some advice: imagine yourself working at mcdonalds in 10years, take some drugs to stimulate brain, live in the library.

I just looked through the exam packet and the questions are really different from the ones Firestone put up. and it covers a lot of stuff Firestone didn't even talk about.. Did anyone take Bio 1A w/ Firestone and has advice about the types of questions he gives/how hard/etc.?

meighan put some of Firestone's questions on bSpace

Yeah, they are really easy.. I'm just wondering if his entire test will be like that..

I took the class with Firestone in Spring 2008. His section isn't difficult. His portion of the final is mostly straight foward.

I love how he spends the first 15 minutes every time reviewing the previous two lectures

w00t the last lecture will not be covered on the final! that means I don't have to watch it

you should cover the first part where he reviews the old stuff though.. and his lecture is somewhat interesting if you're interested in cancer biology..

i did. I watched the first 13 min until he drew the two lines on the board

lol, man this brings backs memories. Identical to my semester.
