bio and chem at the same time?

should i take biology and gen chem at the same time during my freshman yr? if not, what should i take instead of biology, btw im a bio major

yes, you should. That way, you can take physics and Ochem sophmore year and be done with your premed reqs before junior year.

I took intro to bio and gen chem at the same time freshman year with no problems. However, it depends on how well you think you are prepared and what the general path for a bio major is at your school.

I also took bio and gen chem together last year (as a freshman). It really depends on what you can handle based on your own assessment of your abilities.

I didn't take bio until my junior year (the same year I took the MCAT). I did take physics as a sophomore, and I took gen chem as a freshman since I was a chem major.
