BIO SAT II, AP Bio, AND Community College Bio? Oh my..

Would it be weird or good to colleges if I took a BIO class in a community college that was transferable to UCB in junior year, then the SAT BIO II in senior year including AP BIO? Would it look like I was taking the easy route or really interested in bio? Cause I am!]

Also do you think it is better to take Bio at a CC to skip the class at UCB? Or does UCB and medical schools prefer you take ALL classes in the 4 year university? Thanks a lot <3

I think the more you do within your field, the better. I don’t think it looks like an easy route at all!

1) It is silly to take AP Bio (which is not a real college class after all) AFTER you have taken a CC biology class that is transferable. If you take the CC class, then do a different AP course.

2) Med schools don’t care where you take the class as long as it is at a college. CC is perfectly OK. Students who have used AP credits to place into higher level bio classes sometimes find out that they have to go back to CC for Bio 101 before they can be accepted in med school.
