Is a 770 on Bio E a good score? Can I send that to Ivy League Colleges?

Thanks

Im afraid not… Bio E is considered one of the easiest subject tests along with the MAth IIC

Also if you take a look at IVy league College SAT subject test avg score Bio E is 790

I think you should consider retaking it and must get 800 if you really want to get into Ivy League Colleges

I assume the Bio E is considered the easiest by TKBlizzard from looking at the statistics compiled by TCB. Personally, I found both the physics and the German SAT way easier than the Bio E (or M) exam.

One should be careful when assuming all students will possess identical skill sets and thus perform identically on particular exams. What seems to get lost here is that students are human and can actually have talents and skills in areas not predicted by statistics. Thankfully, standardized exam performance is just one aspect of the application process, otherwise colleges would be seriously amiss in accurately assessing applicants.

A 770 for the Bio E means you would be in the top 5% of all test takers for 2011 college bound seniors. A 770 in the Bio M means you would be in the top 10%. To get a higher score would mean your raw score would need to be higher than 73. The decision to retake the test should not be made by blindly looking at statistics, but rather determined by making an informed decision based on the particular characteristics and attributes of the student facing this decision.

Ivy league schools look at more than just perfect SAT scores during the selection process. While strong exam scores are important, you had better posses more than just strong scholastic achievements in your repertoire. Unique talent(s), extracurricular activities, volunteer work, strong recommendations and a good interviewing skills are but just a few characteristics a serious contender should posses if applying to a top-ranked school.
