Should I report my 770 Bio M score?

after the May test date, i got my scores back, and got 800 in Chem but 770 in Bio M. I already took the Math II test and got an 800.

So my question is, will it help me to report my less than perfect Bio score, since most schools only require two subject tests?

A 770 is by no means a slouch score. If the schools you’re looking at require and look at only two tests, then there’s no harm in sending the bio score. Even you’re applying to Ivies or other uber-selective schools, a 770 is still very competitive.

I could be wrong, but if somebody wants to weigh in on my last point, then go ahead.

I have this question also. Would sending a 770 (different test) hurt you if you already have the required 2/3 800s? Assuming the university allows score choice, of course.

a lot of people dream with a 770

thanks for the opinions. I would just wonder if the college would take a look at the 770 and wonder why it isn’t an 800, compared to my other 2 scores.

To a college, a 770 is just as good as an 800.

^agree with BigIs

How about a 730? What’s the lowest score that’s still ok to send for Ivy League?

I think bio is a harder test to begin with, so that score is very very good. Isn’t it a 95+ percentile. I’d be more than willing to send a 750+ to any university. It definitely would not hurt you in any way whatsoever.

we’re in the exact same boat my friend HA

750+ is competitive for Ivy Leaguers. 770 is a great score. They are definitely not going to wonder why you didn’t get a perfect score. This will make you look human. Send it.
