I want to be a nurse or a lab tech, I haven’t decided careers yet so I am choosing a major where I can work in a broad occupation opportunity.
I want to go for CSU for financial reasons and I hear you’ll get better experience for the work field. I’m not even sure if I want to get a Master’s so I’m also debating UC for the name sake I guess.
For nursing, wouldn’t you want to major in nursing?
There is no reason you cannot go to Grad school if you attend a CSU instead of a UC. Name does not matter when getting a job in these two fields.
If you are interested in nursing or clinical laboratory science, applying as a Pre-Nursing major would satisfy the requirements for both majors. If for any reason you cannot get into a Nursing program, the CLS program could be your fall back.
