Hi
I was wondering what classes i should take in fall for biochem/chem major. For all biochem students, please list your schedule for freshman year, if decided, for reference. Thanks

most students just follow this general outline:

your college's writing program
chem6a
math10a (or 20a)
GE
maybe freshman seminar.

i took muir40, chem6a, math20a and a seminar.

uhh ... freshman year isn't meant to be crunch time for your major. as long as you complete chem 6a sometime fall or winter quarter, you're on track.

i can't imagine other people's schedules helping out very much, especially if they're in different colleges? (ie, revelle doesn't start their writing sequence until winter quarter) your college website should have a finish-in-four plan; print that out and keep an eye on it for the next few years and you should be good to go.

UCSD | Department of Chemistry&Biochemistry -- Administration

they give you a recommended schedule for biochem major for all four years
