<p>I was admitted as a Biochem major to UCB. How are the classes taken by this major? are they as competitive as MCB's ? Do med schools take kids who continue with this major?</p>

<p>Just to clarfiy: BioChem IS an MCB major and yes, med schools will take people from that major; med schools take any major so long as they complete the pre-reqs.</p>
