Biochemistry degree, want to pursue computer science M.S. need advice

Hey everyone,

Sorry if this is the wrong board, not sure where I should post this.

I'm looking to pursue a master's degree in computer science, and I've got a fairly well laid-out plan, but it all deals with luck. I am currently a 4th year student at UCSD, which only allows for 200 credits to complete my degree. Once I finish all the courses I need for my degree, I will be left with 12 units, which I will use to take a few lower division classes.

Then I will go on and take courses at SDSU. However, SDSU's (and most other school's) Open University program only allows me to enroll after all matriculated students have. I've asked on the SDSU subreddit and they say that 20+ people try to enroll through Open U, but only 3 or so get in per course. I have 5 courses or more to take, and I do not want to spend over a year on this.

Does anyone have any advice on what I should do? I can move up to LA/OC if there are multiple colleges that I can take courses from, but I'm not sure if it's wise for me to be taking courses from too many colleges.

I'm planning to apply to the graduate program somewhere in SoCal, and most of the requirements seem very similar.

Please let me know if anyone's got a suggestion for me!

Thanks!

tl;dr what should I do in order to get an M.S. in computer science if I have not taken any courses and cannot take any more classes at the college I am matriculated at?
