I am currently taking the class and I was wondering how the grades typically work there if anybody knows. I got my first midterm back and got well above average (10%-15% above)... but I wanted to know how far above the average does it take for students to be typically above the 3.0 mark in biol 180?

I consistently got about 15-20% above average on the exams and above average on most of the assignments, quizzes, and labs and got a 3.8, just to give you an idea. I think you’ll definitely be fine in terms of getting a 3.0, but how far above probably depends a lot on your professor. I had Cecile Meister winter quarter of this year.
