Biology 151/152

Looking at the grade distributions over the years across sections, the average GPA in Bio 151 and 152 is around 2.9 to 3.1. Around 40% get a "B" and a small percentage an "A." Are the courses that brutal or is there a lot of less-than-prepared students in these courses?

Well, I know those 2 courses are a prerequisite for pharmacy school, so could be a combination of smart kids, tough courses, a ‘set’ grading curve.

where did you find that info from? I’m curious for my other classes

http://pharmacy.wisc.edu/sites/default/files/content/academics/doctor-pharmacy-program/admissions/pre-pharmacy-curriculum/UWMadisonGrid.pdf

^is there a course req grid like that for medicine?

Premedicine is an intention, not a major. There is information on UW and other medical schools admissions requirements available through the premed club on campus. You could also check the UW medical school and MCW (Medical College of Wisconsin- private but gets state support school in Milwaukee) web pages for their admissions reqs.
