How easy is it to get an A? a B? BTW, I am a molec.bio major (preparing for med.or pharm.school)
How generous are the courses to be curved?

The average gpa is around 3.1. Most sciences are graded harder but it's not insanely hard. You can get an AB(3.5) or a BC (2.5) in a class which can help but means fewer A's are given.

In my expierence it's difficult to get As, but you have to be pretty... well... unprepared to get lower then a C.

So with a good amount of studying, would you say a 3.6 is feasable?

depends on the major and your courses. I just do my homework, necessary readings, office hours when necessary, and prep for exams. This got me around that GPA.

How much work do you have to do general ed. courses? Like social sci. and humanities and literature? Do you do a lot of reading and essays?

I'm a poli sci history 2x major. You have usually a reading before each class, but a few hours on a Sunday can prepare you for the entire week. A few hours a day of work in my opinion is all I need. But it has to be EFFECTIVE work. Unlike HS, atleast for me, I have gotten NO busy work.

And BTW, what is the max. number of majors a transfer(for junior yr) student can have? If the required courses overlap a lot I think I can even have like 4 majors. Does it really work this way?

Lets say, like I project to be, a bio / pre-med major... Is that 3.6 still pretty possible with some effort?
