Biology at U of M and other things

I really want to go to U of M and become pre-med then go to medical school. However, i don't really know anybody who i could talk to about their expereicen and such. So what are the biology courses at u of m? are they insanely hard? is it possible to get A's in the class? also, what is being on the pre-med track like?

it depends what you are used to. Nothing at any school is insanely hard if one is prepared enough. If you are in AP bio in hs and study hard in college then you should have the skill set to get through Bio with a decent standing. As a pre-med you will need to study harder than most other ppl and you should accept that fact now.

From my limited knowledge as a soon to be pre-med junior, I highly recommend taking classes in subjects you may be interested in outside of pre-med requirements. A lot of people come in (some really set) on pre-med and change their mind after taking a few science classes or shadowing doctors (which you should try to do). That way, if you decide to stay in pre-med you’ll at least have discovered new interests (more well-rounded) and if you leave pre-med, you’ll have some sort of back-up plan.
