I’m applying to Brown under Biology. Would it make sense if I write about how i wanted always wanted to become a doctor but not apply to PLME? I’m not interested in PLME specifically, but i still do plan on going to medical school.

Any ideas, suggestions?

It might come off as odd or misinformed. You may want to briefly explain your rationale for not applying PLME.

You should be fine.

Truzzi’s advice is pretty ridiculous. The vast majority of students who are pre-med are not in PLME.

Many biology students are not pre-med.

There’s nothing strange about this at all. It will likely not even cross the admission committees’ minds.

I see that CC people aren’t good at catching sarcasm. I mean, I even specified afterwards with a “You should be fine.”

Oh, Internet…

^The “You should be fine” could easily be read as “You should be fine if you do what I have suggested.”

Oh, internet, indeed.
