how would you compare the bio programs at each of these colleges?

Don't know much about georgetown, but i think cornell and dartmouth 's bio programs are about on par with each other. These two schools all have killer workloads. Both are ranked the top ten most rigorous colleges in the entire U.S. 's thousands of colleges, tho Cornell ranks slightly higher or harder.

I applied to Cornell for bio over Dartmouth and Northwestern bio because I felt the program was more reputable. I get the impression that Cornell has a better program based on the cutting-edge research being done and its reputation as a science/engineering school. However, Dartmouth does have a great program and you will probably get more speacial attention there.

bio is tough at cornell esp. intro bio. i took it over summer (biggest mistake in my college career).

For Biology, I would say Cornell is best, followed by Dartmouth. Georgetown is really not that good in the sciences.

But if you are premed, I would recommend Cornell and Dartmouth equally.

At any rate, I would pick either Cornell or Dartmouth...depending on fit.

I would honestly choose between Dartmouth and Cornell depending on what you are looking for in a college experience. Academically, they are equals.

I wouldn't expect Dartmouth to offer as much research experience/opportunity as Cornell may.

Dartmouth has plenty of research opportunities, espeically working directly with professors, since the pre-med programs is smaller. Dartmouth students do amazingly well at med-school placement, often because of the interaction they have with professors. Also, Dartmouth's Hitchcock hospital is one of the top research hospitals in the US, and its an underutilized resource.

C>D and I think G-town is out of the question by now
