Biology Major/Pre-Med Professional Advising Comparisons

Hi everyone!
I was recently accepted into Whittier College and Cal Lutheran with merit scholarships of 30k and 24k. I can’t really seem to find anything about either of their biology/pre-med programs besides their own websites. Does anyone have any knowledge/advice about these two schools? Should I consider more prestigious private schools, like Occidental/LMU/USC without the merit financial aid? I know it doesn’t technically matter where I go for undergrad, but I’d prefer to have more knowledgeable and helpful advising and teaching faculty, research opportunities, etc. for how much I’m paying. Thank you so much!

Can’t help with these specific programs, but keep in mind how much med school is going to cost. Good to keep undergrad costs as low as possible.

I do not know about these two schools. Although where you go to college is not of zero importance, what will be more important to getting into med school will be on you (eg academics, MCAT, ECs, etc) I suspect all the above schools will offer you the resources and opportunities you need.

As med school is outrageously expensive; as most CA students who start med school do so OOS due to lack of med school slots; as most students who start as premed change their career goals and never apply to med school; as over 60% of those that apply do not even get one acceptance anywhere; I’d take the money.
