<p>Im a sophomore trying to determine what LS major to pick... I like both biology and psychobiology but wanted to compare the two.</p>
<p>I heard biology is full of boring classes about phytoplankton and memorizing species of fish. Is this true? </p>
<p>Is the psychobiology major much harder than the biology major? i think its a few more classes right?</p>
<p>upperdiv bio is more EEB type stuff (think LS1).</p>
<p>upperdiv psychobio focuses more on the psych part (things that control behavior, etc)</p>
<p>personally i would pick psychobio between the two because i hated all the LS1 stuff.</p>
<p>the lowerdivs are about the same anyway.</p>

-life science series
-chem series
-math
-physics series
-psych 10, 100A, 100B</p>
<p>life science = the exact same thing, minus the psych classes.</p>
<p>so it's not until you hit your upperdivs that the two even differentiate!</p>
