hey everyone! i'm an incoming sophomore, and im interested in medicine/biology so i was thinking about taking the biology olympiad this year. i was wondering what books you would recommend for preparation, and also any tips for taking the exam would be greatly appreciated! and i would love to hear the story of any finalists or semifinalists!
also, when is the exam? i read somewhere that it was in february but i wasn't sure.
thanks so much!

I believe the Olympiad takes most of its qualification exam from Cambell’s, and you should try to know it from head to toe.

The most successful competitors seem to know it by heart and read it through many times. On the plus side, it will also be more than enough to ensure an excellent AP Bio score.

Ya, like above poster said, make sure you know the stuff in Campbell. Also take the released open exams and review stuff from there you don’t know. I’ve also Raven’s Biology of Plants is helpful cause it goes into more detail than Campbell.

thanks!
