Biology vs. Chemistry vs. Physics

Biology>>>Chemistry>>>>>>>>Physics.

Math = Physics > CS = Chem > Biology

Physics. Why? It’s the basis of everything else. And it has math. Lots and lots and lots of it, all kinds of math, crazy math and strange and beautiful and I should probably close my mouth at this point. Also, physics allows one to use one’s imagination when coming up with solution, while most of my experience with chemistry and especially biology showed me that those two are very structural and memory-oriented.

If Biology, Chemistry, and Physics were PEOPLE, what do you think they’d look/act like? (: describe what you see

Biology and physics are where most of the questions are in this day and age. In biology, we are trying to figure out just what life is and how it works, the nature of its past so we can try to see its future. As far as physics is concerned, we have it pretty much figured out on our planet, physics has not changed much at the fundamental level in some time (and probably is not going to unless we find out all of our understanding of the nature of the universe has been wrong, which is always possible). We use physics to study the universe outside our own realm, however, which makes it very interesting. I see chemistry as the glue that ties the other two together. All three are equally important and equally intriguing. I am studying to be a microbiologist, and I study all 3. Physics, as far as a class goes, is the hardest for me to stay awake in, but that is not to say that it is not wonderfully important and interesting. Chemistry is fun, and biology, well if you don’t find life interesting I would like to know what does interest you.

according to importance: phy>chem>bio.
well from knowledge of physics comes chemistry. and from knowledge of chemistry comes the higher concepts of biology.

according to my liking: phy>bio>chem.
chem is too abstract for me. love molecular bio though and genetics too. however physics is the winner. well at least from my perspective since i wanna be an astrophysicist. lol.

Chem>physics>bio>environmental sci

Phy>Bio>Chem
Physics is the shizzz

CHEMISTRY > Biology > physics

Physics >>>>>>> Chemistry + Bio

Physics, you don’t have to memorize much. Every formula can be easily derived from a few basic ones, and concepts can be derived too from formulas

For chemistry and bio, you have to memorize many many facts, properties, etc

Bio > Phys mech > chem > Physics E/M

I hate all sciences. However, for me, Chemistry is tolerable.

I like physics the best, and then bio. I think my dislike of chemistry stems more from an awful experience with a teacher than the actual subject matter itself.

Biology-I like my teacher but I absolutely hate the subject.

Chemistry-Love it! I think it’s amazing.

Physics-It’s hard but I enjoyed it, I just wish we had AP at my school.
