Biology is cool.
Discuss.

Biology is freaking amazing—particularly marine biology! :D

Ew biology.

How dare you insult the greatest science EVER!

It is definitely cool. Although I did hate it in highschool (long story). But I took an anthro class at college and we got into genetics and all that cool stuff and I actually understood what was going on, so now I like it. I still haven’t taken college bio yet though, but I plan to soon.

tell us the story!

why not discuss fizix

Evolutionary biology!

I prefer chemistry followed by physics, though I am not wild about physics.

I don’t know. I think I just had a bad experience with my bio teacher. I don’t like her much + I was a slacker at the beginning of high school (like I’m not now…), so I never really understood a lot of it.

I suppose some of it is interesting. I don’t like human biology, but I guess when it comes to things like marine biology that may be interesting.

Chemistry is my favorite, though.

Okay well I guess it’s not that long of a story :)

I was homeschooled, and I had to pretty much teach myself. The book was pretty boring, especially the molecular biology part, and I had no clue what was going on. I was totally confused by the genetics and the molecular bio stuff at the time because I didn’t have anybody to explain it and plus I didn’t know anything about chemistry so I couldn’t really picture what was going on I guess. Like they would be talking about a protein and I would be wondering what that was and I read that it was made up of amino acids and I was like well what are those and I just didn’t get the whole thing. Plus, the whole course was designed to persuade us that evolution was bogus and the world was created in 6 literal days. At the time, I was pretty much like this whole thing is bull**** and I could care less.

My class got to attend an oncology lecture the other week. It was AWESOMEEEE.

Biology is just so elegant. It’s amazing how beautifully it always works out in the end. I’m not a science person, but I’m so crazy about biology.

EW MARINE BIOLOGY
EW EVOLUTIONARY BIOLOGY

now CELL BIOLOGY, thats where the fun is 8)

microbiology ftw!

I find biology really interesting, but had a hard time remembering all the different parts. AP Biology covers such a wide range of topics! I guess my study habits weren’t that compatible with the class. I look forward to exploring deeper into more focused Biology subjects in college.

My freshman high school teacher (I’m now junior still in high school) is the one who got me interested in biology. Let me get it straight. She was actually taken advantage by both the administration and her rowdy students, so she quit after I graduated my freshman year. =[ I miss my freshman biology teacher. My AP Biology teacher doesn’t compare to her, even though I do understand that AP courses require heavy self-studying regardless. >.<
