Hi, I am an international student. I will be joining illinois institute of technology in august. I confuse about classes. Many classes have different number but the same description. e.g., BME 423 - Cell Biomechanics: Principles and Biological Processes and BME 523 - Cell Biomechanics: Principles and Biological Processes. I don’t know what different in the two classes. Can any one help? thank you.

One will be an undergraduate level course and the other a graduate level course.

@aguy0077 - Thta is correct. the 400 level courses are for Junior and Senior undergraduates. The 500 and 600 level courses are for graduate students. If thecourses are taught simultaneously, graduate students will be expected to do more and there will be different grading standards than for undergraduates.
