I would say Central Campus if thats what you mean.:s Bit confused here:P

Yeah, I don't know if most of my classes will be in Central Campus or North Campus as a freshman... This will help me narrow my dorm preferences.

Thanks

I think most of the Engineering Buildings are located on Central Campus with the exception of the Aerospace one. You may want to check that up though.

Thanks, I just heard that most of the Engineering students stay in North Campus, and assumed that they had most of their classes up there.

College of Engineering buildings are located on North Campus, but first year engineers have most of their classes on Central.

Thanks, so Markley may be better than Bursley...

Absolutely no reason to bother with Bursley. You will only have two classes on North Campus freshman year.

I shouldn't "bother with Bursley"? What's so bad about Bursley?

Bursley is a decent dorm, but it is located on North Campus, so you will rely on the bus, which isn't a bad thing considering that it is reliable, free, safe and availlable every 10 minutes or so. But why rely on a bus when you can live on Central campus and walk everywhere. Bottom line, if you can get a dorm room on Central Campus, go for it, otherwise, Bursley is a fine dorm.

Alright, thank you for your input.

is it possible to bike from north to central instead of waiting for the bus? how long does it take to bike?

It is possible. It would probably take 15-20 minutes. But it is slightly hilly and the roads connecting Central to North Campus aren't designed for pedestrians and bikers.

if you're incredibly lazy like me, then bursley isn't that bad either. you wait for the bus right outside of bursley and get dropped off at cc little, where most engineering classes are around. the bus ride is about 10 minutes. if you live in markley you either have to wait for the commuter south, which takes forever, or walk like 10ish? min to cc little. i kind of like sitting... i personally think markley is disgusting to look at on the outside. the only problem with the buses are the weekend buses, and if you're a partyer, you have to be back by 3 am.

Hey, at least the walks from Markley let you get a little bit of exercise. When finals and papers come up, you are sometimes forced to jump from the CCRB ship. Twenty minutes of walking every day is better than nothing.
