Birthday cake delivery?

<p>Does anyone know of a place on or off campus that delivers locally? I know you can order online, but the prices seem ridiculous...any ideas would be appreciated.</p>

<p>My D says the desserts are not very good there and everyone complains about them. I am sure a cake from a good bakery would be a real treat!</p>

<p>I don’t know if Edda’s delivers but they are only 5 minutes from campus. Actually, come to think of it, I have seen their vans around town. But if they don’t, maybe you can get a roommate/friend to help out and pick it up? Having someone in on the surprise might help. If you do get help and the cost is an issue, Publix is not far from campus either and their cakes are my personal fave! Good luck, it’s very sweet of you to try to plan this.</p>

<p>Just ordered from Edda’s Cake Designs in Coral Gables. They deliver to the dorms. Reasonable cake prices and $10 delivery fee.</p>

<p>I have a friend with a cupcake (bakery) store in Fort Lauderdale. I know they do events all over South Florida. You can check with them about delivery: sweeterdaysbakeshop dot com.</p>
