<p>Anyone know how this class is curved? Apparently, the professors want to screw with us by not telling us how the class is curved at the end of the semester.</p>
<p>i took it last year with hedgecock and fuhrman and the curve was pretty awesome...most people get As or Bs</p>
<p>I have no experience with classes in the bio department...but like the other "advanced" freshman science courses (phys 161, chem 115, etc) I would imagine that there's not much of a bad curve, since everyone in the class is (supposedly) pretty good to begin with.</p>
<p>Well, right now, without any curves, I would have a B (~84%). Would the curve be large enough to get me an A-?</p>
<p>I think it depends a lot on the average grade in the class. If the average grade is ~85, then a B might be about right. If the average grade is more like ~75, then your chances are better for an A. But really, I think you would have to email the professor or TA to ask what ballpark your 84% is in.</p>
