Inquiring minds want to know…

How did you get some of these deals like $50 Target off a barely over $50 purchase or Uber Eats groceries at half price or Amazon $15 coupon…?

AND, why did you not share with us after you secured them?!!

Just ordered a box of the King Cormice pears to send to son and roommate for finals week.

Our neighbor gifted us some a couple years, and son and DH said they were the best pears they’ve ever eaten.

Promo code also worked for free shipping!!!

We finally used Cyber Monday as a catalyst to get a TV for our second home. Haven’t had one in fifteen years there, but it would be nice for movie nights, big games, etc.

Our big problem now is that the living room is shaped so there is no obvious place to put it. No wall seems to line up right with seating because of odd shape, doors, windows, wall AC etc. Either the view would be too far (feeling like you’re looking down a tunnel, or seats angle wrong. We have debated this for years–part of the reason we didn’t get one.

Considering a rolling stand. Anyone been that route? Pros, cons?

Do you have a spot to roll the stand to when not using??? Would a corner table/cart work?? (cut to fit in the corner).

We have a rolling stand for our tv and we like it. Most of the time we leave it out, but can move it back against the wall when we want to. We actually purchased a non-rolling tv stand and added clear wheels. That let us buy a stand that went better with the room.

We have the tv in the terrace level on a table but on a swivel base, so we can rotate it without moving the table. Would that work?

I just bought a 43” Fire tv for the guest room so I can watch from the new adjustable bed being delivered tomorrow. I can’t mount it on the wall because there are mirrored closet doors. I will temporarily put it on a card table that is only set up for when I’m doing crafts or when son visits. But long term I was thinking of a minimal rolling stand so it can be moved to the end of the bed (about five feet closer). I didn’t know you can put wheels on a fixed stand.

I described the $50 off $50+ purchases at Target earlier in the thread. One is a $50 credit for adding Redcard reloadable. One is a $50 coupon for adding Redcard debit card. Both are still available at RedCard: Save 5% at Target .

The $15 off $15+ purchases at Amazon are for adding new payment methods to my account. Amazon has recently offered one for adding a Citi card, one for adding an Amex card, and one for adding a Discover card. I believe all are still available, the Citi one is at https://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=24089508011 . These must be used on purchases sold and shipped by Amazon, so I used it on ChuckIt balls. There is currently a sale on ChuckIt balls that can be stacked with the Amazon buy 2, get 1 free coupon.

The Uber Eats grocery offer might be a personalized bonus. It appears when I login to the Uber website. The bonus is listed as expiring on Nov 30th. I stacked this with a separate Uber Eats bonus, which counters the fees.

I applaud your tenacity in getting these deals!

I got in just under the CyberMonday wire when at 11 something pm last night, while lying in bed, I bought myself some Allbirds shoes for 30% off (although I had to buy a pair of sale socks to get free shipping). Two of my sons love theirs so I’m hoping they’ll fit. I definitely wouldn’t have bought without that discount. I also got my son some sports team apparel for 30% off at Fanatics.

Late last night, I ended up buying some tea forte tea and infusers as gifts (their tea is wonderful) . I might keep one of the canisters so I should have bought another!. The cyber Monday prices seem to be continuing.

My husband wanted another small laptop which we got though the dell site, and using the Rakuten site, got $105 back on top of the $157 I got back for the Dyson vacuums.

I also got a pair of Allbirds last night. I am getting an additional 20% rebate from Rakuten.
I also ordered a last minute sale item from Sur La Table. I had planned on ordering from William Sonoma but checked Rakuten and saw Sur La Table was alao giving 20% rebate yesterday. Both rebates are back down today.

I almost bought something from sir la table last night too, but ended up getting something similar on a different site.

My refrigerator suddenly started working again. It must be a Christmas miracle. It looks like we just saved $3,000.

Thanks for the tv stand replies. We don’t really have a corner for watching, but there are a couple wall choices we could roll it back to. I probably need to get one that has the framework to hold the TV from behind, but I don’t want to look like I’m giving a corporate presentation!

If you have wireless you can just play a fireplace burning video from you tube and it will be a warm cozy glow not a presentation glow!!

@ garland : We have a rolling stand for a 43" TV. The stand was an inexpensive IKEA Lack unit, and we added rolling casters on the legs. We rarely move it to another part of the room, but use it all the time to tilt to the direction we are seated (The room as a small dining area, and a separate lounging area). I don’t know how easy it would be to move a larger TV. Plus you need to consider any attached wires ( power, any speakers, antenna)

Should we keep putting good holiday deals here??

I know many people here already placed a Penzey’s spice order but I took advantage of placing an order today because of 3 good deals:
Joy Gift Box (3 types of cinnamon) $5.95 each
Free 1/2 c. cinnamon sugar w/any order (weird, I know but their cinnamon sugar blend is so good!) (code HAPPY)
Free 1/2 c. hot chocolate mix w/$10 order (code YUM)

And you only need $29.75 purchase for free shipping (as opposed to $50)

Then I bought a few other stocking stuffer spices for the cooks/bakers in the family: garam masala, dried shallots, vanilla sugar…
