black legacy's RD chances at Penn?

CAS applicant - by the way does the legacy/URM thing help at all for RD? Because I hear it doesn't and that would suck....</p>

<p>Penn does not give much of a legacy boost RD. That said I think you will get in anyway, a long as you didn't apply to Wharton.</p>

<p>I think you have a really good chance. Penn doesn't value legacies as much RD as it does ED, but I think it will still help. Coupled with your ethnicity and impressive APs/SATIIs, I'd be surprised if you didn't get in!</p>

<p>You have a good shot at being in because of good SAT's and your ethnicity, regardless of whether legacy helps you or not.</p>
