<p>Black Male from a reputable Washington State High School </p>

<p>1550 SAT (780 math 770 verbal)</p>

<p>750 SAT II Writing
730 SAT II Math Ic
700 SAT II US History</p>

<p>Natl Achievement Semifinalist...projected finalist...i didnt get natl merit because I took the test high on oxycontin in a wheelchair 4 days after major surgery</p>

<p>AP Chemistry 4

<p>Varsity Football until career-ending knee injury last year (required major surgery, I tore 3 ligaments + hamstring + broke fibula + tore peroneal nerve, it was 5 months until I could walk without crutches, and I can still barely jog)</p>

<p>Varsity Track until same injury</p>

<p>I work as an intern at Washington Mutual Bank, have done so since spring of 2003</p>

<p>I was selected for the LEAD Summer Business Institute at University of Pennsylvania this last summer</p>

<p>Im looking to study international relations and economics, and hopefully somehow tie in latin american studies and african studies. Im also very interested in the middle east, and I want to learn Arabic in college, on top of the Spanish I already speak. umm yah lots of interests.</p>

I wrote november i hoping for at leats 1500. Maybe I'll see ya at harvard ill be easy to spot the only other black guy with a caribbean accent lol. good luck even though nu dont need non</p>

<p>Kerron, you do realize that your race is not going to help you when you apply to Stanford. In most American universities, affirmative action only works for US permanent residents or citizens.</p>

<p>So you're gonna be compared at face value.</p>

<p>okay you're in. in in in. only 72 black students scored above 1500 on the SATs last year, (it was in a wash. post article last year). I don't know what it is this year, but consider yourself a very hot commodity in the college application process right now. im surprised you havent been contacted by top universities yet.</p>

<p>Hey Kerron, I don't know about Stanford and the west coast colleges, but over on the east coast practically every next black person at university is West Indian. I was poking about Tufts with my mom last summer (we came too late for a tour) and the first two guys we asked for help getting around were from the exact same parish in Jamaica that my mom's from. Crazy. So if you come to the east coast you'll definately not be the only one with an accent! :)</p>

<p>Without AA, i would say that you are very competitive. With AA, I'm saying that you're almost a shoe-in.</p>
