Your grades and ssat looks good and you have alot of extracurricular activities, but have you done anything notable in those activities (award wise)? Providing this information will help people grasp a better understanding of what your talents are. Schools generally look for a hook , which will make you much more appealing.

Well for those activites, I have won the heat winner for YMCA south Florida in 50 breaststroke, and I have been in several shows for dance, for track and field, those awards were like 2 years ago, but I had a lot of awards for track, like 100m 1st place in my school for several years, same thing for 60m… I guess that’s it? Do u think I have a chance?

Interviewers sent me handwritten letters too

Did you look at any other schools? It can be good to apply to wide net of schools.

Yes I applied to a handful of schools, saint andrews FL, the Webb TN, mercersburg, masters, Blair, hill, Loomis, Berkshire, westminster, Deerfield, Taft, Kent

When did you tour at Berkshire? I am a current student and if you have any questions about the schooo I would be more than happy to answer.

Of course, what is Berkshire looking for in an applicant?

It might just be easier if you pm me and I can give you a more in depth answer @Ac0309

I’m really not good in essays, does that matter like A LOT?

The admissions standards for Asian applicants, especially those who have lived overseas, are higher. Loomis and Taft will be the most difficult, but with your ECs, you could very well get into both. Westminster and Blair will be easier to get into.

I am Asian but I was born here and lived here for the past 3 years. Does that help? And is Living in FL an advantage since in my opinion not many people apply. My favorites are Deerfield Taft Blair and Hill, can you please chance me on those?
