Do ppl who use the blue ribbon application have a better chance of getting into Brandeis because it is like EA?

It's definitely a good thing because they send it to you if they know you've "shown interest" in the school... I applied on it, so I haven't found out yet, but I think it can only help my chances.

Yeah, I applied via Blue Ribbon App and I think it's sort of like applying Early - after all, they give you an earlier answer, but they don't require you to attend if you're accepted, so...yeah, a good thing. Plus, they waive the app fee, so even if you don't have a better chance, the Blue Ribbon App is worth doing just for that.

But I guess we'll find out it in three weeks.

It's funny because I showed absolutely no interest in the school whatsoever, and I received a blue ribbon app. After receiving it, however, I became interested and applied. Why do some receive it and others dont?

im an athlete, so i guess thats why i got it

Yeah, I didn't show much interest either and got the application.

same here
but i heard that its also b/c of sat scores?? i have no idea as to how they would obtain that
the good thing is the waiver, they use it to get more students to apply- i don't think that i'd apply w/o it
