I am accepted to UCSD's bioengineering program. However, after checking their websites, I think bioengineering: biotechnology might be what I want to do because it is more geared towards biochemistry as opposed to physics. In addition, I think I would consider going to med school after I graduate. I know that organic chemistry is a pre-med requirement yet it is not part of the bioengineering curriculum. It is, however, part of the bioengineering: biotechnology curriculum. Is there any way I can switch major after admitted, especially when bioengineering: biotechnology is an impacted major? If not, is it possible for me to take O-chem in addition to the courses offered by the bioengineering program? And one more questions: which of the two major is better for getting a job after undergrad? thanks

Not A Problem.
You can take O-Chem in the summer or any time you want.
I am third year student of Bioengineering:Biotechnology and I will graduate in 4 years.

thanks for your answer
but which one of the two do you think is more difficult?
