anyone have any opinions about it? :)

I'm a BME pre-med sophomore and the only real difference between just being BME and being BME pre-med is sophomore year when every other engineer is taking their humanities and social science classes, you'll be taking Orgo 1 and 2. Then senior year when everyone else is taking their "professional electives," you'll be taking your humanities and social sciences because Orgo 1 and 2 count for both of your professional electives.

Your sophomore year will suck. You'll end up taking 3 classes second semester that have labs. 18 credits of classes end up adding to a total of 30.5 hours of class. It's also somewhat hard to do well in all your classes sophomore year. For non-engineering pre-meds, the class they're focusing the most on is Orgo, whereas I feel I've got other more important classes I need to focus on.

Your schedule sophomore year will be:
Semester 1:
ENG EK 301--Engineering Mechanics 1
CAS MA 225--Multivariate Calc
ENG EK 102--Linear Algebra (Or you can take CAS MA 142. I did)
CAS PY 212--Physics 2
CAS CH 203--Orgo 1

Semester 2:
ENG EK 307-- Electric Circuit Theory
ENG BE 209-- Molecular Cell Bio and Biotechnology
ENG BE 200-- Probability
CAS MA 226--Differential Equations
CAS CH 204-- Orgo 2

So it's a pretty rough schedule, but it's doable.
Also, I feel like every BME was pre-med freshman year. Then we took CH101 and CH102 and suddenly no one want to take Orgo anymore. There are probably only about 10 BME pre-meds left in my class.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. :)

i was wondering if you knew anything about the ENGMEDIC Program that BU offers. Thanks :)
