BN Duke Scholars?

Anyone here on CC receive notification yesterday about being a finalist for the BN Duke scholarship?

According to the website, Benjamin N. Duke University Scholarship Program, the e-mails (and USPS packages) went out yesterday:

On Wednesday, 2/23/2011, we notified via email and invited finalists for the Class of 2015 to participate in Finalist Weekend, April 6-9, 2011. Their invitation packets were shipped via USPS the same day.

Nothing here! I'm staring to get super depressed!

Yeah, I didn’t. Kinda disappointing. The thing I’m wondering, though, is if ED applicants have priority because the website says you have to have been accepted to Duke, and I don’t see how they would have processed every application yet when they won’t send out admission letters for another month. Either way, I don’t think we’re being considered for B.N. Duke. There’s still the A.B. Duke scholarship, however. From whatI have read, people with really exceptionally high SAT scores seem to be the ones offered these opportunities. I have a more difficult (impressive?) academic record in most other aspects than the others.
2160 SAT1
800 CHEM
750 US
740 MATH2
7 APs taken already, taking six more this year (including Independent Study Physics)
5s on Bio, Chem, Stat, Euro, and Gov/Pol
4 on US
3 on Lang (oops)

My ECs are pretty basic and this seems to be the other determining factor for scholarships and likelies

Violin for 9 years (City Youth Orchestra for 4 years, but no first chair or anything)

Triathlons, about a dozen sprints and one half-ironman. Finished anywhere from first in age group to close to last in age group (doesn’t include half, I came in second, but there were only two of us)

Normal stuff like National Honors Society, Beta Club

Math club President Senior Year

nothing else even remotely exciting

Hey just curious as to how far you guys went on this scholarship? Please update your status as I am also considering applying to this. Thanks
