<p>I've been a lurker on the CC forums for a while now...Just haven't posted very often. </p>
<p>Anyway, I got an email today informing me of my nomination as a finalist for the Duke AB Scholarship. </p>
<p>So will anyone else be going to Duke April 6th for the interview? :D </p>
<p>When I first applied to Duke back in December, I didn't think I might really end up at Duke...But Duke has really grown on me in the last couple of weeks (first college to send a likely and now this) so maybe it really will be the Blue Devils for me!</p>
<p>i got one too! and yeah i didn’t really consider duke seriously but i feel like we’ve gotten a lot of good news from them all at once haha. idk if i can attend interview weekend though because it conflicts with my choir trip 
btw what are people planning to send for “sample of best academic work” (in the email’s supplemental questionnaire)? i’ve never written an essay for school longer than 8 double-spaced pages and i don’t have creative writing or research papers to speak of…</p>

Does the AB Duke committee email the finalists all at once? If I haven’t received an e-mail yet, does that mean that I’m not a finalist?</p>

<p>I got the AB Duke email too … I was just wondering whether they will give financial aid consideration to those who do not get the scholarship? What do u guyz think?</p>
<p>Why wouldn’t they? A.B. Scholarship and the Robertson Scholarship are merit-based scholarships, I think, so they don’t depend on financial need.</p>
<p>@misterbeck: I think you are right … so that means I can actually go to Duke! Excited! BTW I am an international from Pakistan. Where are u frm? Maybe we ll see each other on the candidate weekend :)</p>

So excited to visit Duke this coming Spring Break! I really hope some of us CC *******s get to meet each other during the special weekend.</p>
