Boarding School Chances

Hi! I'm applying for 10th grade for these schools (yes, i know they're very competitive). I'm also a Caribbean-American girl.

Andover
Exeter
Lawrenceville
Choate
Middlesex
Groton
Hotchkiss
Taft
St. Pauls
St. Andrews

I currently go to a prestigious all-girl's school in NYC and I have been there for last 10 years.
Final grades (8th grade): English - A, Latin - A, French - A, History - A-, Physics/Chem - A-, Algebra I - B+

I think my grades for this term for Bio and Geometry will be significantly higher, but I haven't received my report card yet.

Extracurriculars: Diversity Club (2nd year), Debate Team (new team, first year), Media Arts (1 year), School Newspaper (3 years), Dance Club (1 year), Soccer (3 years), Basketball (1 year, worst choice ever), Varsity Indoor & Outdoor Track (4 years), a lot of plays and musicals

Awards: I attended Andover's Summer Programs '11 and '12, and I was awarded the Citizenship Award for girls in '11 and was highly encouraged to apply and had meetings with admissions officers.

Won School-Level Geography Bee (6th & 7th Grade), Summa Cum Laude on 2012 National Latin Exam

Leadership Position: Student Government & Track Co-Captain 2012
I've surpassed my language requirement by taking double languages for full-credit. I've always enjoyed learning new languages and I really do love French and Latin, but I also hope that this might help me to stand out in the admissions process.

SSAT: I took November exam, not sure about how it went so far. I think I did well, but if I didn't, I can retake it, so that's not an issue.

In my free time (which I severely lack), I do charity work and read A LOT. I don't have time for much else, because in addition to my extracurriculars, I live over an hour away from school, so public transportation consumes a great deal of my free time.

My recommendations should be very good; in addition, I have many contacts at these boarding schools which might increase my chances (I hope so!). What do you think that my chances for the above schools are?

My only problem so far is that I have already visited Andover and Exeter, and while they're both fantastic schools, I got the sense that it's sort of a "sink or swim" environment. I don't want to be a school and become the "little fish in a big pond", which is what draws me to Hotchkiss so much. I absolutely loved it during my visit. I still have strong ties to Andover admissions though. Choate also seems great in terms of the feel of the school.

well, i guess u have a good chance! hope u get acceptance letters from all these schools!@

Thank you!
