Book editions

hey guys
could you tell me the difference between the second edition of the Kaplan New SAT critical reading book and the third edition of it?
also, the difference between the first edition of the college board blue book and the second edition of it? thanks!

Pretty much the same for the 2nd edition of the Blue Book- it simply contains 4-5 new tests not in the 1st edition.

^What he said.

To be exact, it only added 3 tests.

The 3 tests that were added to the Blue Book are actual SATs that have been given after March 2005, the rest of the tests were made up as practice tests and were in the book prior to the first “new” SAT in March 05. The second edition is the one you want.

Never used Kaplan so I don’t know.

The old Red Book had the SAT exams that were converted into March 05 format.

If you have the blue book, then Kaplan won’t be necessary.

The first practice test in the 1st edition actually doesn’t appear in the 2nd edition if I’m not mistaken.

Thanks so much!
Can you guys also tell me the difference between the second edition of the Kaplan New SAT critical reading book and the third edition of it?

the NEW SAT is one with a writing section as well as some revisions to the long-standing reading section. I would say it would be more beneficial for you to study the New Sat edition instead of the 2006 edition one. I would recommend going to [CheapestTextbooks.com](http://www.cheapesttextbooks.com) for reasonable prices. It’s a great book to have, you can write in the books and simulate the testing situation for yourself.
