You can find it on Oasis.

But the ISBN numbers are wrong, for some reason, so be careful about editions and publishers.

If we order online and the books arrive at the dorms before the 8th, will the package be accepted, or refused?

Does it make sense that the Calc 125 book list includes two additional required books from another Math course (118)? One of them costs $226!

Is anyone else in Journalism 201? The book(s) is/are not listed for me.

Some classes won't be announced yet, as the instructor submitted a booklist late, or doesn't want you to buy them before the class starts. If you have questions about a specific class, I recommend emailing the instructor. You can find their addresses in the staff directory.

Is anybody else's booklist wrong? Yesterday, when I first noticed it was up, all the ISBN numbers were wrong. Today, I checked again, and the ISBN numbers were right but the classes listed aren't the classes I'm in. In fact, one listed is a class that's not even offered this semester. Will this eventually fix itself or should I contact someone?

VF08, my D has an extra Math course listed that she didn't register for, and she's making an assumption that the books for it are required for the Calc she's taking. If others appear to have extra courses listed, I'm hoping she's wrong and that it's a mistake. The particular books are very expensive...and I can't imagine Calc requires 4 books.

Sequoia, I think the booklist is probably wrong. I checked mine last night, and the correct classes and books (same books as the ones on my TO descriptions) were listed but, like Nikara, the ISBN numbers were incomplete. Today it is a COMPLETELY different list of classes (none of which I am registered for) and books, but at least the ISBN numbers are complete! I think the booklist needs a day or two to sort itself out.

Thanks tocollege. I just had a look, wow, it's changed alright...only 2 courses listed now and one is the TO 111 that she did in fall! At least yesterday the courses were correct other than the extra Math.
I guess there's a glitch all round and we'll just have to wait for it to be sorted out.

Anyone know the required book list for CSCI 101? Don't know why that wasn't listed. Thx.

The booklist is not reliable. There are still classes from last year. Mine is not too worried about the booklist, she too busy having fun at Disneyland.

I'm definitely going to wait at least a couple more days with the booklist. I don't think I've ever seen a booklist THIS erratic... ever.

Well my D's has changed for the third time, with the extra Math course in there again but a different one that I think Marshall students take. My D is not in Business.

It looks like the booklist is starting to fix itself. It's only listing three of my books, but I know that they are the proper ones for the classes, and they have the proper ISBN numbers. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I just called the bookstore to try and figure out what is going on, and they said that it's an IT problem instead of a bookstore problem. However, you can usually figure out the write books for your class by looking at the shelf yourself. They list the name of the class that uses the specific book, with the professor.

Book list for my D has changed for the 4th time!, two courses listed ....one correct and again the TO111 fall class that she already took. Luckily she printed out the list yesterday which was correct other than the addition of an extra math 218 class.

Do you know if it is fairly easy to buy used books or are there few of them in stock at the USC bookstore? Also, how much does the USC bookstore tend to give credit if you want to exchange your books you purchased the fall semester?

I usually buy them used from Amazon marketplace or half.com. The problem of course is they never put out the list until the last minute. They always say it is because the prof turned them in late, yet for most of my son's classes, they were the exact same book the prof used when he taught it last semester. I seriously think they do it last minute so you have to buy from them and not on line. You can get some of them in 4-6 days from amazon marketplace for a slightly higher mail/shipping charge. Overall, the books are 50 to up to $100 cheaper on line
.

I'm not sure USC is going to accept any more books for buyback until the end of next semester =/.
