I tried to get my D's booklist and I just get a server 500 error

I just tried to access my book list by schedule, and it worked for me.

my schedule works as well, but did you get the booklist for FWS as well?
i checked student center, but i’m not even assinged a FWS yet…and now i think it might be because i already had 18 creidts before FWS was added on…

^I didn’t see the booklist for my FWS either, nor am I enrolled in an FWS on Student Center. But I don’t think having too many credits should be the problem, as I have 16 credits total including gym right now, and an FWS would bring the total academic credits to 18. They probably just haven’t posted it yet.

is the FWS only worth 2 credits??

I’m pretty sure it’s 3.

booklist worked for me now. It was probably getting loaded up before when I was trying to get it.

Question on books for BIOG 1101 & CHEM 2070

The ISBN numbers for the 4 Pkg Biology and Chemistry don’t work on the used book sites.

So, are these like custom packages and we have no choice but to buy them at the Cornell Book store?

Sorry for the dumb question but…
where and how to you find your booklists?

[Get Your Booklist!](http://www.cbs.cornell.edu/textbooks/)

looks like cornell increased the book prices, must be due to bad economy…
orgo used to be around 119, now its 134! for the same book lol

What is “SG Biology” in Bio 1101 because it says it’s optional.

Question, are those “package” things worth it? Or should I just get the textbook? And for BIOG 1101, is the online access to mastering biology required? Or optional?

For the clicker, used or new? And since I have 2 classes using them, I can use the same one, correct?

To ImTheHost:
SG Biology is the bio study guide, and no you don’t need it. You’ll do well if you read the text and attend lecture. So no, I don’t reccomend buying it.

To ZFanatic:
The online mastering cd comes with the textbook, which is part of the biology textbook “package”. I would recommend buying a used iclicker because its cheaper and they’re all basically the same. And yes, you can use the same iclicker in multiple classes. BTW, ICLICKERS are used to answer multiple choice questions in class.

Ok, so we can either purchase a new textbook that is only bundled with the CD and other stuff for new, or we can just buy the textbook used by itself. Kinda sucky. So is the additional “ancillary material” necessary?

Also, it says the textbook package is required for bio 1103 and this “investigative biology 2009” and Biology by Campbell, Neil. Err…so many text books for biology!!!

To ImTheHost:

I think they’re using a new version of the biology textbook this year. So unfortunately, you prob won’t be able to get a used one. Plus, the “ancillary material” is def unnecessary. The good news is that they use the same textbook (Campbell) for bio lecture and bio lab. I think you were getting confused about that- the same textbook is listed under bio lecture and lab. However, you will have to buy the lab manual “Investigative Biology 2009.”

Well, under Bio 1103, it lists Biology by Campbell, Neil for $173 new. The bundle for 1101 is by campbell/reece for $185.00 new. whats going on??? 2 different textbooks

Hmmm… I remember it being $173 last year. So Cornell was just being dumb and forgot to change the 1103 one to $185.

And I don’t see how they could be using a new version this year. They used the 8th edition last year and there is no 9th one yet. You should definitely be able to find used ones. But as juniorvars said, the extra material is unnecessary.

They’re the same textbook. There are multiple authors, so I guess that can explain the discrepancy. I don’t understand the price diff though- maybe the cornell store is looking to make a profit on unsuspecting students lol. At least last year I used the same text in bio lab and lecture. I don’t see how it would be any diff this year. You can get in touch with someone at the cornell store directly. Or, you can ask your advisor if you have talked to him/her yet.

Does anyone know if we need all the extra stuff (Web Booklet) that comes with the Honors Chemistry Book (Zumdahl’s Chemical Principles)? Because places like half.com have just the book for 60 bucks.
