Books available Sept. 1st!

I… “acquired” the 6th edition of the required chemistry textbook online. However, the professor wanted everyone to get the 10th edition. Do you think my outdated copy will suffice or should I just fork out some money (a lot of it ;_; ) to get the 10th edition? God, I hate the college textbook monopoly. It’s ridiculous.

I’ve been wondering the same thing, but I believe it’s an online tool AND a textbook, but I could be wrong. I’m sure if it’s only an online tool, there won’t be any shipping charge for it, but if it’s also a textbook, there will be shipping involved.

^ I’m pretty sure it’s just an online too.
Here’s the syllabus to 39b. There’s another site where you can buy the connect composite for $25.
<a href=“EEE+ Home | UCI”>EEE+ Home | UCI;

See that’s where I got the idea that it may be a textbook + online access, because for one on the $25 website it says, “Connect Composition PLUS online access”, almost like the online access is just an additional add-on.

And second, on that same website, it has a pretty beefy table of contents, which includes foldouts of certain things, like MLA documentation.

Good point. The site says its format is online resource and in the overview it mentions that it’s an eBook. I’m not too sure about the foldouts thing. Maybe it’s something you print out.
