Cornell says books will be about 700. Is about that, more or less in reality?

I've never gone that high. About $300-500 for a typical semester for me. HINT: Buy online. Don't buy from the bookstore.

It depends. I was around 250 last semester, and 400ish this semester. Try going online, but I always just did the bookstore because of convenience (probably not the best idea). Kraftee's in Collegetown is also great for paperback, etc. (Any text w/ a CD or study manual, as a package, is probably best bought from the bookstore).

For me it was a little over $400 first semester, a little under $300 this semester. Sometimes you'll get one class that just assigns a LOT of books, and sometimes you'll get one that assigns expensive ones--it all comes down to chance, really.

I also buy them at the Cornell Store just for convenience. Laziness is a more powerful motivator than money.
