Books?

Ok I know this has been asked a few times but I couldn’t find a definitive answer…

When you go on mocha/banner, the books for the majority of classes aren’t listed. Going on each department website, you can figure out a bit more, but I only figured out 2 of my 4 books. Is there any way to figure this out before we get there?

Namely, the classes I can’t figure out are:
Math 0540 : Honors Linear Algebra
APMA 1650

thanks

A lot of textbooks still haven’t been decided, but if you want, you can e-mail the professors to determine what books they’ll be using. It’s probably not a great idea to buy the books now, though, since you may decide to change your classes after shopping them.

Uroogla is the man. Great advice. Also sometimes you can download the books too. So you don’t even have to buy it.

I think they should post the books 1-2 weeks before classes start. But don’t take my word for it.

I don’t have books for the first week or two of class until I’m sure I’m staying in. Your prof will tell you, the internet will post it, or when you go to the bookstore, they have a list.

I buy books from the bookstore and use them while I wait for my much cheaper copies from Electronics, Cars, Fashion, Collectibles & More | eBay, etc. to arrive and then I return the Brown bookstore ones

Also, I know it’s a while before this happens, but don’t sell you books back to the bookstore. HUUUUGE ripoff. The ones I decide are useless ( I do like to keep a large part of my books) I resell on half.com (Soooooo hassle free) for like a dollar or two less than my purchase price and recoup a large part of my book money this way.

1) use [TextBookHunting.com - TextBook Price Comparison Deals Bargains](http://www.textbookhunting.com) to find books for cheap
2) ace the class, get that A
3) resell on half.com
4)…
5) PROFIT?

I think I did that correctly.
