<p>Most of my classes haven't posted which books are required for the course, and I want to start ordering them soon.. when will I know what to get?</p>
<p>Also, do we need to buy goggles for chem labs?</p>
<p>I’m not sure about the goggles, as I’ve not taken chem at GW (nor do I plan to), but…sometimes you just have to wait on the books. I’ve had professors where the first time the book list is mentioned is when they pass out the syllabus. Otherwise, just keep checking the bookstore website, and hopefully they’ll be posted soon.</p>
<p>Barring that, you could also email the professor, if you like. I’ve had some friends do that in the past with varying degrees of success.</p>

<p>I wouldn’t buy books until the 1st week of class. Chances are, you’ll want to switch classes or change your schedule around.</p>
