I keep hearing that the ECs aren't "colorful." I mean, i don't really understand...what should I have done? Gone to zimbabwe and handed out mosquito nets?

So who told you your out of class activities are boring? Other high school students?

They sound fine, better than fine, and at least some of the schools you are considering will view them quite favorably. If some schools don’t, then those schools probably aren’t the best schools for someone with your interests anyway (assuming your activities really do reflect your interests).

well when I put up chance me threads, random people write “your ECs are weak” or “they don’t show passion.” well I don’t really write an essay here about why I’m passionate about them here.

You have outstanding ECs that indicate your passions, leadership ability, and your willingness to do hard work.

Chances posts are a waste of time. Virtually all responders are uninformed students. The people with the most insight into chances are admissions officers, and they don’t give chances. Probably you got negative responses from some students who envied your ECs.

Key Club – it depends, do you do something with it? Where I live, Key club does lots of great volunteer things. I wouldnt say lose it. I think a lot of things like NHS and Key can either be honorary or can be active. Either way I wouldnt lose it, just consider what else to have.

I think you’re the biggest ********ter for coming on this site and writing things like that. I spent 20 hours a week since last year working my butt of in my lab for my intel project and what you just said shows how ■■■■■■■■, scared and self conscious you are about your ECs. So why don’t you get off this site and actually do something with your life?
