Anybody here find college life boring. I mean I have a couple of friends whom I see once a week not more or less, but most of the week I sit at home finish school work or go to my job. On the weekeneds I usualy go for a round of pool or chill at my friends house. I dont party much, maybe once every two or three months. Im going to a commuter school now, and Im in my sophmore year.

I was kind of looking for the whole college experience, coming home for thanksgiving and pep rallies and football games and dorms and frats and drinking games and women hehe.

Commuter school sucks, I guess I can make the best of it. Anybody else thik it sucks?

Mainly b/c I have been extremely swamped with tests, projects, and job interviews in the last two weeks. Professors trying to wrap up their units before spring break starts. Never fun to get slammed with so much work in one week.

Boring? No. Lots of work? Yes
But there's no way it can be boring. I go to a D1 hockey school, and love hockey. In the fall our football team was number one in our division for most of the season, and I enjoy that too. My dorm is really community oriented, so we have a lot of fun too. Sure there are boring moments, and the homework can be a pain, but I'm enjoying myself overall

The good thing for me is that I have a really good friend on campus who I've known for seven years. We do a lot together, and we're gradually introducing each other to new people as well.

I work a ton on weekends--two jobs. Secretary and technician. I don't have tech work every day, but I do get it a lot.

Personally I can't stand weekends, but that's it. I get so bored. My buddy has to work a lot, I'm new on campus so I don't exactly feel like just hanging with people I don't know that well, and the rest of my friends are either at their school or are out (if they're still in HS). Once baseball season starts it will be better since I can go to the game any time I want...friends are nice but baseball's one of those things you can do alone too and still have a good time.

Of course, I'm fine on weekdays. Most everyone is on AIM at night so I can talk to almost anyone (the exception being the people who haven't given me a screen name). This way I remain in contact with my friends who are now a good distance away and with the folks who I know from home (mostly in high school, some at community college).

Fourthed by a commuter!

I love my school, I've adored every prof. I've had thus far, I just don't like most of the other students.... That's why I don't live on campus! ;)
