[/ul]Reflection[ul]
[] Strengths: ACT score, community service, essays
[] Weaknesses: Schoolwork (GPA, course load) - It doesn’t really help that I go to one of the most competitive public schools in the nation. 3.85 puts me below the 80th :/.
[li] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Dunno. Decent stats? Male in nursing?[/li] [/ul]General Comments: Yay? Probably not going though :(.

My son was accepted in CAS. Sorry I cannot take the time to provide full stats for my son, who has similar objective stats to all of you who were accepted. He did have strong GPA and Ivy-level test scores (33-36 on ACTs). Subjectively, I think he also had smart Common App essays (but he was distressed that he did not get to write specific essays focused on Jesuit mission, etc), Jesuit connection (relatives who graduated & one who is a prof), and has been accepted at 5 of 6 Jesuits to which he has applied (Georgetown decision next week).

I wanted to point out that 3.85 at one of the most competitive high schools in the country is factored into the mix. Obviously, universities know which high schools’ A’s are not comparable to others.

Decision: Accepted (CAS)
